Description:

A motivation programme for people with intellectual development disorders was elaborated. It consists of recommendations, two exercise books in easy language (Latvian and Russian), work book, CD with 10 situations, common when starting to work, 10 best practice example postcards, CD with “Employers view on employee with intellectual development disorder”

Selection criteria:
	Innovativeness: Interesting fact is that a CD was produced showing considerations of employers about employing a person with intellectual development disorder, providing more credible background for other employers crucial for the decision to employ a person with intellectual development disorder. It is very important, as fears of employ a person with disability are one of the main obstacles for their employment.
	Dissemination: 117 specialists and people with disabilities took part in seminars organised at the end of the project. According to feedback information this motivation programme was used by 469 persons with intellectual development disorder. Information about the programme was disseminated trough websites and newsletters for professionals and mass media.
	Exploitation: Motivation programme is used at Supported work agency, Daycentres, as well as special schools.
