Prometeus.cat is the global program in which all European mobility projects are brought together.
This mobility project is about work experience abroad, to get acquainted with labour contexts in other countries, improve CV and language skills, and facilitate labour inclusion in the country of origin.

Staying in another European country involve changes from a routine, domestic and known environment to a new, unknown environments. This means, adapting to a new situation, by means of new attitude acquisition and personal growing.
Espiral provides opportunities for work experiences abroad to a wide range of ages - from 18 to over 45 years as part of a new project to control the management of demographic change.

In 2000, Espiral started to manage economic aids for work experiences for a group of disabled people, including 5 people with physical disability and 5 people with mental illness.
During 2001 Espiral did the same, although this time acting as a hosting centre for 11 people with mental illness from Italy.
In the following years, flows of beneficiaries were increased and in 2008 Espiral managed 20 Leonardo granted work experiences and 28 from Catalan Employment Service. Apart from that Espiral are to manage 20 work experiences for people over 45 in the next months.

Participants of the mobility project are very satisfied with their experiences as shown in their letters explaining their experience, reports, and even videos.

To undertake tasks related to information and dissemination, usually a mailing list including all stakeholders, interested people, local administration and information points are used. On the website of Espiral people can find all kind of information about mobility projects.
