PREMIERE OF THE SHORT FILM ABOUT THE INTEGATION OF THE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY

During the project “Learning Lab for Integration” the short film about the inclusion of people with disabilities in education and employment fields was made. Its international premiere was on the 12th of May, during the training courses in Spain but the Latvian premiere will be held on the 10th of June, 2009. Later on the short film will be also available on the web site www.tavanakotne.eu

The film was made with the purpose to compile the experience gained during the project, visually reflecting the project partner experiences and inspiring to create new ideas and new challenges. So that the film would be understandable to the widest possible audience it was made in Latvian, English and Spanish languages. The film will be available on DVD. Total duration 20 minutes.

One of the co-authors of the film Maija Muceniece representative of the organisation of people with disabilities and their friends “Apeirons” admitted that “Most vividly in my memory stayed moments when we met movie characters - people who create everyday independent living for people with disabilities, people whose work speaks for them. Those are truly inspiring examples!”

Premiere will be held on the 10th of June at the “Apeirons” office in Riga, Kr. Valdemara street 38, at 15:00 pm. After the movie premiere author group and international training team members will share impressions about the project and training experience.
