A follow-up event will be organised in Riga gathering specialists and representatives from NGOs, municipalities and government institutions. Everyone is invited!

The event will be organised in two parts: a seminar allowing discussing the project results, the documentary produced within the project, introducing the best practice example data base etc. (12:00 – 14:00) . This will be followed by the awarding ceremony of the contest of best practice examples “We are strong” (15:00-17:00).

The contest was organised to gather best practice examples in Latvia for integration of people with disabilities into labour market, education and social life. In total 64 examples were submitted giving a hard time for jury to evaluate them and choose the winners. Who was selected as the best? This you will find out on October 30.
